Advantages of Biomass Fuels

According to the actual survey, biomass briquettes have the following advantages

(1) Biomass briquette fuel has a large calorific value, with a calorific value of about 3900-4800 kcal/kg, and a calorific value of 7000-8000 kcal/kg after carbonization.

(2) Biomass briquette fuel has high purity and does not contain other sundries that do not generate heat. Its carbon content is 75% to 85%, ash content is 3% to 6%, water content is 1% to 3%, and absolutely does not contain coal Gangue, stone and other impurities that do not generate heat but consume heat will directly reduce costs for enterprises.

(3) Biomass briquette fuel does not contain phosphorus, does not produce phosphorus pentoxide during combustion, does not corrode the boiler, and can prolong the service life of the boiler.

(4) High combustion efficiency, easy to burn out, and less residual carbon. Compared with coal, it has high volatile content and low ignition point, and is easy to ignite; its density is increased, its energy density is high, and its combustion duration is greatly increased, so it can be directly applied to coal-fired boilers.

(5) Biomass briquette fuel is clean and hygienic, easy to feed, reduces labor intensity of workers, greatly improves the working environment, and enterprises will reduce labor costs.

(6) There is very little ash after the biomass briquette fuel is burned, which greatly reduces the site for piling up coal ash and reduces the cost of ash.

(7) The ashes of biomass briquettes are high-quality organic potassium fertilizers, which can be recycled for profit.

(8) Biomass briquette fuel is a renewable energy source. Compared with traditional fuels, it not only has economic advantages but also has environmental benefits, which fully meets the requirements of sustainable development.
